Mar. 17th, 2009 01:42 pmFreaking Evacuation Day. I want my library books! (okay, technically I don't have any library books to pick up, but I know that's just because they're closed.) Stupid British. Ruining my library trips, even hundreds of years later.
I have a note in my cellphone that simply says 'zeppelins in the fog' I haven't a clue why. It's in around movie and book notes (I make lists of books in my text messages when I go to the bookstores so I can look them up in the library later.), so is it a note about something I saw? Or is it just the awesomeness of the image? Hard to say.
So, in my okcupid profile, under favorite music, I say that I'm going to have to bookmark the site because I keep trying to type Okcomputer. And I follow that up with "(still their best album)" which is totally true, so don't start anything. Some guy randomly chats me up in there, and says they agree, it is Radiohead's best album. I give in to temptation, and write back and say that sometimes I think it's The Bends, but The Bends doesn't have Let Down on it. Alas, what could have been a beautiful story has been scuppered because he didn't know what The Bends was. Seriously, people. How can you know something is the best album if you haven't even heard the other ones? Particularly the second best one! I was worried that the scuppering was unfair, but luckily the lurkers support me inemail chat, so I know my decision was just.
