Oh, the joy! Tech support's questions paid off with a very quick fix (renaming a file, so the installer thinks it's not there, and redoes the actual installation of that stupid driver.), and I now have an MP3 player. With music on it! ANd thanks to the glories of the internet, I also managed to transfer my playlists from itunes to my zune (since I have everything set up properly in itunes, I wanted the laziest method possible to get it to my zune). Victory! And it has pictures on it too. *cuddles* (it has my snow picture as the background, which is the most fabulous background ever now.)

I also read my contract from Fantasy Magazine today, so go them! And it's a non-overtly evil contract, always a plus. So I should be published again before too long. Hopefully after they ask me for some copy edits, since the rough draft they posted (that google caught) revealed some stupid mistakes on my part. (Luckily, google then ate the copy, so with any luck, no one will ever be able to prove that I end sentences by just moving on to the next one, complete thought be damned.)
