Jul. 26th, 2006 10:49 pmNot to be critical but, you finally have the dog in the episode doing dog things (there was barking at the door *and* sleeping on something that wasn't supposed to have dog hair on it), and you LEAVE HIM IN THE CAR? What, so he doesn't get hurt while you're rescuing your daughter from the psycho? And they said pitbull, but whatever--I think he's either a pit/bullmastif cross or an american bulldog.
Also, much like Chance's story about how the scary things in her life disguise themselves as shadows of chairs, I often find it necessary to turn on the light to make sure there's nothing scary hiding in my room even though I just stepped out of it for a minute (years of aversion training by cats). Now, let's say I've got the secret evidence that will punish the bad guy and save all of the good guys, including both of the boys I have crushes on (I sympathize with Veronica there, though I kinda think she picked the wrong one). I will run out to my car (which as chance points out was apparently left unlocked so that passing psychos could hide in it), and leap in and drive off without turning on the overhead light? I mean, true, she has no reason to believe that he's hiding in the car, but honestly, in her case I would have called Weevil (thus removing one of the season two plots, I know, but whatever) and had a large number of tough guys on bikes escort me to my dad.
