Oh, I meant to mention, in honor of Gwenda's birthday, I read Lulu Dark Can See Through Walls, and I second her recommendation of it as a fun YA girl detective novel. Though, really, it's more Harriet the Spy than Nancy Drew. (doubly so, actually, as Charlie in it kept reminding me of Sport in Harriet)
