Authors I get easily confused:

Terry Pratchett and Tom Holt

This is not helped by the fact that I often read them back to back (or even side by side, which is even worse). I would like to see a collaboration. I suspect it would rival Good Omens.

Tom Holt and Robert Rankin

I often think that I like Robert Rankin. I sort of do, but only where he's more like Tom Holt than himself.

Rober Rankin and Norman Spinrad

I haven't a clue why. Except maybe the excessive weirdness. That's probably enough of a reason why, actually.

The fact that you confuse Norman Spinrad with anyone confuses me. To date, his are the only sex scenes I've ever read aloud to anyone.

I don't remember the sex scenes in his books at all, as I haven't read the books in 16 or more years. I just remember the excessive weirdness.

And seeing as you haven't read Robert Rankin, how do you know you wouldn't get him confused as well?

And it was really just the one book that I remember the sex scenes from. It was integral to the plot, those scenes.
