I am in possession of what is possibly the finest cover ever: Travis (moody british pop band) singing "Hit me baby one more time" of Brittney Spears fame.

This replaces last month's favorite song, the perfect punk xmas carol, "Oi to the world."

I also am very pleased with yesterday's photo, Shadows.

I still think the best cover ever is Nina Gordon's cover of N.W.A's Straight Outta Compton:

God that rules on so many levels. The original song is great and the cover is great in a totally different way. I'm just sad that she only does the first third of the song.

That's a fine photo! I love your snow series, too. The railings and detail work off of that alley limned in ice. Beautiful!
