Serious writer thoughts
Jul. 11th, 2002 07:39 pmI'm almost a good writer. I can't tell if I'm getting closer or not though. I'm figuring out *what* I need to do, but how to do it hasn't clicked yet. and it's frustrating. I know what I'm trying to do, but when I write out everything, it seems so damn much, but everyone here seems to want more stuff than I think is necessary, so I clearly need my brain recalibrated. As soon as they ask questions I realise that I should have mentioned that, or hinted at it, or something like that. But I don't think of it while I'm writing it. Which may mean that I'm simply doomed to bad rough drafts. I even try to write this stuff in more, but it doesn't happen that way. I think it has enough setting, but everyone else can't see any setting at all. I suppose the good side is that I can see *some* of the problems as I'm writing them, just not all of them.
