tanaiseThe only thing this list is missing that my slush is 'blessed' with is the one that makes me want to go smack people with rolled up newspapers.
"The sky beyond the window was robin's egg blue, with the puffy sort of clouds that make you think of wyeth paintings, in front of which clouds of brightly colored birds soared and sang, delighting the hearts of all below. But Joey didn't see any of this, as he was dead and thus a little preoccupied."
bad! bad! No details that the characters can't see unless you know you don't suck, and trust me you do.
On the other hand, this personal from Craigslist is excellent, right from the start. I particularly like the use of white space with regards to the second paragraph. Just beautiful, really.
