It was rainy--so rainy--this morning, and cold and grey, and I decided this meant I needed a haircut. Yesterday, when I'd been walking down to the CD store, I'd found a random place in a basement that looked small and almost dingy--clean but old, you know? Not fussy, not all mirrors and glass and trendy trendy people. Comfortable. So I called them, and they had space this afternoon, and I walked over with my roommate, who had very clear ideas of what my hair should be cut to look like (not surprisingly, much more like her cut. :) Though she does have similar curls.), and got about 3-5 inches chopped off and layered and layers around the face



It's shorter than it's been in a while, and it's got layers along the face, so we'll have to see. I also don't know what it's going to look like when it's dried naturally, though I suspect it's actually a *lot* shorter than I think it is.

I like it. I'm still thinking I'll cut mine, but being in Florida in summertime, I need something either short enough to be off my neck, or long enough to put up off my neck every day.
