Jul. 8th, 2004 04:37 pmOh, Cory's new book has a lovely cover.

I covet the book. Covet covet covet. I will have to buy the hardback, which is sadness for me. I wonder if it's pre-order yet....
Dave McKean! I should forget my dreams of marrying Cory for he is surely involved in illict affairs with most of Tor to get a cover like this. (or, you know, wrote a kickass book, but honestly, which option is more fun to believe, really?)

Both of his first novels are kinda post-scarcity SF novels, but don't let that scare you, if it's not your kind of thing. I find Cory to be really accessible. Lots of pop-culture fun in his stuff. The first novel is set in Disney Land where cooperatives run the various rides and have all kinds of political in-fighting going on.
