Just when I was wondering about Dora's lizard, she posts an updated journal. January through mid february. it's hard to pick just one favorite line, but I'm going to go with:

At the end of class, the nurse says that giving birth is the most empowering experience a woman can have. Dora has a word for this, which she will not print here. What about ruling an empire? What about creating a philosophy? What about starting a religion?"
