Dear Eli:
Socks that are made for boys are not pink. Not in the slightest, unless there's been an accident with red things in the past. They don't come with dainty pink toes and heels, or delicate pink writing on the bottoms. If you are feeling color blind, let me point out that the total lack of fitting that results from cramming your monstrous size 13 feet into my cute little girl feet socks should be hard to ignore. I understand that socks are probably always smallish on you, due to the freakish nature of your feet, but really, you should be able to tell the difference between my cute girls 9-12 socks with the soft cotton and the non-browness and the pink and your boys 13-15 with cotton like sandpaper and about that same color. So stop stealing my goddam socks, you bastard!

In related news, I'm doing laundry. It does make the place warmer, and while I filled up my humidifier last night, I didn't actually turn it on. And I woke up all croaky and meh. But I walked to market (stupid blisters on my toes), and had good food, and chatted with a friend of my mom's (It's very odd to be giving the same depression advice that this woman's psychologist husband as well as my psychologist mother gave her, but I still couldn't stop going through it anyways.) And then she gave me a lift to my grandparents--not even half a mile, but like I said, blisters!--and I did some clean up work on his computer (Adaware found 195 items on his machine. 195. I was boggled.), and looked up how to fix mine, seeing as last night I installed Pro and then found it completely impossible to connect to the internet. I tried *everything* I could think of, including making up things, and it ended up taking just 2 minutes with regedit. And now it doesn't want to install the service pack on my computer because it claims I may be using a pirated copy. I am shocked, I am, really.
Oh, how I love Travis. I heard them live once, back in the Man Who days. I wonder if I ever wrote that up. It was them and Remy Zero and JJ72. A very good show. And I was apparently on crack when I decided not to get 12 Memories. Of course, lack of money makes everything harder to pick between, and I do have Firefly and Neverwhere instead, and did I really need more music? (Yes) I think maybe I was cranky because much as I do like them, Jack and Rufus and Pete and John all had new albums around then, and I got them, and they weren't quite as good as the stuff before, and I forgot how much I love these boys. I also forgot how badly I want to be able to rip MP3s from parts of Real Audio streams. I'd even be good and only take the songs they don't have available other places. *misses Golden Boy's Lilac Afternoon*
Reviews, because I think I never posted them when they were first out, and also because I can break into tangent and like to glory in my power.

EV with all the Clarion stuff. Look at the drooling over Rudi. Shameful, that's what it is.
