So, walking back from the eye doctor this morning, I passed all of the school students ever as I walked through the commons and the public gardens. But on the commons, down where the statues used to stand, I saw one of the mounted police officers and my absolute favorite of the horses--big bay, I think, or maybe just a chestnut, with a big white nose and socks, and he must be an American Warmblood or some other Draft cross cause *wow* he's big and has enormous feet. Anways, I love the horse, and the horse was trotting just *beautifully*. I wasn't paying attention to how the officer was riding specifically (other than noticing that he didn't suck) but he must have been better than not sucking, as the horse lookedl nicely collected and was tracking well (well, so far as I could see from across the park--the bright white stockings helped, it's true) details that may have been remembered in correctly ) But so that was a nice thing to see on my way in.

In news unrelated to the horse, but related to the eye doctor, she asked me if my left eye always doesn't open as far as my right eye does, or if it was something related to the current eye issue, and I didn't know what the answer was. It's true it's totally noticable on the picture of my eyes from last week, and I feel like I've noticed it before, but I can't tell looking at other pictures of myself. So if any of you ever noticed this before, let me know. The eye is doing much better--90% better. I am to continue with drops today and tomorrow, and I get to go back to contacts on thursday, with a follow up eye appointment on friday. I'm switching to the new acuvue lenses that she put in my good eye because it seems like a better lens, and I'm mostly done with the box I have anyways. So, if anyone needs any acuvue 2 lenses in 3.00, let me know. :) I promise they're not tampered with.

Count yourself lucky i didn't resort to a cow pun here.

(it was *supposed* to go to my scrapbook and then to here. but it's a cranky pants, and thus will just have to go through flickr first. I like flickr better anyway.)

The rest of my photos of the cows are going up only on flickr unless they're really special (I was tempted about the Street Cow Named Desire). So you can play along at home either by looking on flickr or via the general "me" flickr feed, [livejournal.com profile] tanaise_flickr. That will get you pictures of other things on occasion though.

Also, because I feel like it, I am planning to take all of my cow photos via my cell phone. It amuses me. Plus it makes it very easy for me to transmit them to flickr. There are, that I have seen, two more cows that I need to get pictures of, and then it's just every other cow in boston that I haven't seen. I am told there's a heritage dictionary cow to find as well that my company sponsored, so stay tuned for that.
