*loves the internet* The Stills. their whole album. Which is good, cause I listened to Still in Love Song about 14 times on iTunes video thing, and was attempting to convince myself that I couldn't go buy the CD over lunch because I bought YBFH yesterday so I could see my name in print again.

And I got a surprise while reading the Horror summary of the YBFH last night, which I was just skimming through, looking for interesting bits since I'm not really a fan of Horror. But at one point I realized that she had a section of Mixed Genre Anthologies, and I wanted to see if she mentioned P3 in it, which I didn't think she would, cause it's not horror (except for copy editors who spy the manuscript em-dashes in it. ;), but not only does she mention P3, she names me in her list of excellent Dark Fantasy in it. Whee! I'm in the book twice. Twice!

Hannah is too, mentioned by Gavin/Kelly as a high point of Chizine. Go us! Still the prettiest!

And FB is mentioned in the next sentence after Hannah, almost, and there are 4 stories of ours in the HMs. [livejournal.com profile] pnew8's one of them, and I forget who the others are because I haven't even read the back section myself yet, and so I'm bound to forget someone if I try and remember them. Oh! Rudi, for the Night Gardener, of course, cause the story freaking r0x0rs. And a lot of our authors got mentions as well, just not for our stories (Greg Beatty got an SF HM, one of the few names I recognized in Gardner's list.)

My new favorite (still in) love song.

I think I've decided what annoys me the most about the late comment notifications isn't the ones I get saying someone commented in my journal, cause really, had I gone back, I would have seen them, and could have continued the conversations. No, what's really annoying is the replies people made to my comments in other people's journals. Cause suddenly my mailbox is full up with [livejournal.com profile] mrissa and [livejournal.com profile] crowyhead, and others, and I never answered and what if they think I don't love them anymore? Especially Barth who had a lovely comment on openings and hooks and such in my journal and I never saw it until last night, and now I need to think about them again.

Right now, though, [livejournal.com profile] gwendabondgirl found a really neat thing on weather and environment in literature. I say really neat, but I'm not sure that's what I mean, cause I keep getting caught in my setting as I write Company Man, because the setting is supposed to be a very important part of the story (being as it's basically Centralia), but it keeps either being the whole point of the story or being completely irrelevant, but I suppose that's not really what the piece is about.

Oh, and a feed summary since I haven't done one in a while and I've been adding feeds for people a lot lately.
[livejournal.com profile] borneman John Borneman
[livejournal.com profile] chancewrites Chance's writing journal

[livejournal.com profile] electrolyte2 The full feed one
[livejournal.com profile] gregvan Greg van Eekhout
[livejournal.com profile] gwendabondgirl Gwenda Bond, who Kirsten should probably add, cause I often think of her while I'm reading it. (others should add her too, but Kirsten should add her even though she doesn't know who she is.)

[livejournal.com profile] jeanseok
[livejournal.com profile] jedediah Jed Hartman (who, if he comments in your journal, is [livejournal.com profile] elysdir)

I'll gladly add any feeds you want added, just comment or IM me or whatever. (and it's very easy to add journalscape feeds, so they don't even need to know they're being added. Bloggers do need to set something up, but it's pretty easy, and explained in their help file (and I've helped others with it, so I can help there as well. Other places are on their own).) And if anyone can find me a Sylvia feed like the rest of the comics, I'll be so happy.
