Jul. 1st, 2004 12:59 ammeh. 6 different CDs of power point slides. 500 image slides and 200 map slides each. I am so dead. I hate Powerpoint. Hate hate hate. I also had to create about 30 slides of various video and such, and put them into a couple of the chapters in 2 of the presentations. Presentations, I might add, with spelling errors. With factual errors. With just plain stupid wording. Not that I'm bitter, but the people who wrote this stuff got paid better than I did.
I love discovering common tastes in music. I was hanging out in the kitchen today, since I could watch people coming in and out, and know that I wouldn't get snuck up on at the wrong moment. So while I'm there, i wanted music. and there's a CD sleeve thing, and I pull it over and start going through it and oh my god, it was nearly perfect. Pete. Old 97's. Rhett. Better than Ezra. The Cranberries. I put on The Day I Forgot, and danced myself all over the room there. I talked to chris, the CD ended, I was fiddling around, and B came in and I practically pounced him about the good music. His music. I could swoon right now. The only bad thing is that the stereo doesn't play burned CDs, and most of his stuff there is burned, and while I have just about all the music he doesn't have but wishes he did, it's mostly on my computer, and thus not helpful. But damn. We put Pete back on, and every time I would find myself singing along, I'd glance up and he would be too. It was great. I'll have to loan him my discman, cause he needs to be able to listen to good music while he cooks, and nothing tops musicforthemorningafter.
