Laptop tribulations

gateway is managing to mess up sending me a laptop case in rather spectacular ways. I'm really amazed. The latest bit: they changed the address, but UPS delivered it to the old address anyways. Lot of good it does me in DC. Not that I need it here, but I'm pissed. Plus, I think that case will be smaller than my messanger bag, which would be nice if I want to take it places. And I don't know how to be properly annoyed with them. The most I can manage in an email is disappointed and upset. Stupid gateway. I swear I've never had this much trouble with anything else, which is currently the only thing they've got saving them at the moment.

Clarion week one

Okay, those were damn good stories last night. I'm in awe. I feel like such a loser already.

I was thinking about it, and it's not that they're making us work, but that I feel like I should work. Everyone else is busy. I want to goof off and play games, but no, they're all good little worker bees. Some are working on their second story. Well, I am too, but I'm not starting from scratch. I'm starting from a previous start that never really went anywhere.

Oh, and for the more pragmatically minded people, the food here is fine. It's not excellent, but really, for dorm food, it's quite good. Expensive, yes, and bland, but just fine.
