Feb. 28th, 2003 02:14 pmWhee! my roommate doesn't hate me. She didn't even seem mad! (which I realize makes sense, being as she does love me and want me to be happy, but I'm always worried about people being mad at me. (much like Marky Mark's character in The Big Hit)) She did sound sad, but said to let her know what the schedule is as I get it figured out. So I get to talk to my parents this weekend and find out when they can come get me (either my dad or my mom in my dad's car, as the jeep's tempermental) and once that's been figured out, then I can give notice at work, and start collecting boxes and packing things up and all. But that was pretty much the hard step. Work is sort of learning that I"m leaving--I've told some of my coworkers and all, just non of my supervisors as I don't know when I'm leaving exactly, and it's not very helpful for me to say, "I'm leaving some point in the next 6 weeks, or maybe 4, or maybe just two.)
And I've sent out Bough again (total turn around time: under 18 hours), this time to FSF. There! Go bother JJA for a week. (ooh, trick question. Why do you put name/story/page number across the top of the story? Why, so when you have to pry open the envelope to make sure you didn't send anyone else's email off with your story, you can flip easily though the stack of pages without opening more than just a couple fingers width of the envelope. :) Bet you didn't know that before. )
