Writing recap (Laptop, Clarion, Blinding)

tanaiseI'm currently trying to convince myself that I need a laptop for Clarion. I'm putting up quite a fight, but I think I'll win in the end.
Oh! and at my alumni event I learned awful sadness that my SF teacher from college might not be coming back to K after her sabbatical. and I *still* haven't been able to tell her about getting in to Clarion.
Blinding chugs along, slow as anything. BUt at least it's moving. And once I get it all written out, I'll have a better idea of the voice I want to be using and I can go back and edit it. I think that's part of what keeps stalling me. It's not quite the right voice, so I keep writing asides and rambles, trying to find the place where I want to be, which is making this story longer than I want it to be.
