So, I love Eureka. I have loved it since the first moment I saw ads for it, whereupon I went to the internet and found all of it to watch. And the first season one of the BIG plot points revolved around the son of the love interest/head of the company. Who has not only disappeared from the show, he has NEVER BEEN MENTIONED this season. This season when his mother has been pregnant and talking about having a baby, blah blah blah, there has been not even a "gosh, X (I can't even remember his name any more) is doing so well off in Y, where he is doing Z." I mean, I don't require small children to stay on shows forever, but they could at least pretend he still is a human being and talk about him from time to time. They talk about other people who have left the show.

That said, I still do love it, and its interesting view of science. Not as much as Psych, though. I love Psych so much that would like to marry the writers from Psych. Well, really I would like to marry James Roday (who write scripts too!), but if he is taken, I will settle.

We have been ranting about the Disappearance Of Kevin as well here. Harumph.

Thank you!! I have so had the same thought about Kevin!

IIRC, he wasn't even involved in the wedding that didn't happen at the end of last season. It's like he survived that whole "artifact" thing only to disappear. Maybe the gubbmint took him to area 51?

I think he was mentioned last season, but never appeared.

Huh. According to this: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1821330/

he's been on it this season even. I stand by my never mentioned belief, though.

This season? really? the last thing I see on imdb for him is the wedding that wasn't ep.

Either way, your point stands. And if there ever was a place where an autistic pre-teen could reappear a season later as a completely different person it would be in Eureka.

Yeah, the wedding that wasn't episode was actually this season. Surprised me too. Plus, I don't remember him being mentioned or anything in it at all, so I assume it was just like, he was in the crowd.

I remember seeing him because I was shocked that he still existed, but it was brief and sort of in passing. I don't even understand what a "season" is supposed to mean if that was the same one, though!

Dude, I'm glad it's not just me... I mean, I missed a lot of eps, so I was thinking something had happened that I missed, but I *still* thought it was weird that they didn't mention him.

Yes! how hard is it to drop his name into the conversation? Allison could mention how Kevin has missing Nathan, how he's doing in school, what his thoughts are on being a big brother, and that would be fine. but it's as if he never existed. hmph.

that being said, I adore Eureka. I've watched it since the very first episode, and it is such a pleasure. I wish the seasons were longer. ^_^
