I should have asked Dave what the regionalism panel decided, because I've got like 4 Central PA stories that I'd love a reason not to write.

I ran the robot in my room to get the kitty litter bits all up, since mister monster feet likes to track it around. So now it's all clean and shiny. Fluffy kitty on shiny floor = near miss floppy kitty on the shiny floor. Additionally, floppy kitty is failing fetch. The hairband is still not on the floor where he is looking, no matter how hard he looks at that piece of floor. Another of the hairbands was found and taken into the middle of the room to be made an example of. He tried all the tricks, too, even the one where you pretend you aren't looking at it so it tries to make a run for it. This is more effective with a mouse than a hairband. Likewise, the one where you hold it with one foot and stretch with your mouth works better with a hairband. Play to your strength, I tell him. And no, you idiot, you threw it into the laundry basket--I tell him that too.

My mom thinks I should wear dresses more often. She had some valid points, so I may go clothing shopping this weekend. Yeah, because I needed to spend more money.

This year at wiscon, Jodi taught me how to spin. As I suspected, I like the bottom whorl more than top whorls so now I need Jodi to get back to VA so she can tell me what spindle to get. (I know, I know, more money, but I already have the roving, and so it's necessary. Also, pretty!)
