You will all be surprised to learn that Tempest still bears a grudge against me. I wonder if she remembers why, or if it's just instinct at this point. She also bears a grudge against Chance, so I'm sure she'd vote against Jessie when I put up my "the Meanest" poll. (My hair is totally adorable today, so it clearly agrees that I am the cute one, not the mean one, but we'll have to see if the SCIENCE! inherent in the poll supports it.)
Wiscon was awesome. I need to stop saying 'even though no one was there' because that's totally not true. Sure, plenty of people that I wanted to see weren't there, but ultimately, that was okay because it meant a) I got to see more of the people who were there and b) I got to meet new people. All of the new people were AWESOME. As were the people I'd already known before I went there.
I met two people who know Hannah, and knew of me as Hannah's roommate.
Everyone loves a netbook, particularly one as cute as Tiny Computer. Also, free wireless meant a) I could look up things at the drop of a hat and b) could check email if things got boring, or even if they didn't.
I went to one reading, no panels, and a number of parties. I loved the reading (Haddayar, I think I told everyone else in the reading but you that I loved the stories they read. This was nothing personal, I just forgot when I saw you. Yours was at least as awesome as theirs.) I enjoy going to no panels. It's very freeing. (or one might say 'lazy') The parties were mostly very crowded and OMG hot. For the future, I would just like to say "BOX FAN." Also, I would like to say, "Stop making popcorn, consuite."
For those who were curious, Chance is now over Twitter.
I think that's enough for now.

Date: 2009-05-26 04:10 am (UTC)Those times I passed you while you were chilling up in the swanky sitting area were vicariously relaxing. "Check it out, someone sitting still peacefully, not running around and shouting at people in overheated parties! Imagine how nice that is." *happy sigh* *back to rushing around and shouting at people in overheated parties*
Can't wait for next year.
