I was so lazy this weekend. I could not wake up on Saturday, and when I did the light was all weird and I felt like it was a winter 10am all day, even though it was warm and sticky. So I just read and fell asleep. I did get through a lot of books, though, so that was nice. And I watched Jack of All Trades because it was nice for in the background. Oh, and then I didn't fall asleep until 4am.

Sunday I also felt completely asleep, but did a much better job of waking up, eventually. Laundry was started and nearly finished, I hauled some boxes down to the basement, did some other housecleaning things, and then went back to sitting on my bed and reading. mmm. Reading. I felt guilty about not going outside--it looked SO NICE outside but a) I'm scared of the sun and b) I'm even more scared of allergy headaches. So instead I just stayed inside and felt guilty.

I finally got around to watching The Break-Up, and I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. It really was a break-up, and what was really sad about it is that it was very believably set-up--basically, the whole breakup was due to a stupid argument and bunch of little misunderstandings, and if they'd ever talked about the fight--well, to be exact, if they'd ever said the right things about the fight--it probably wouldn't have happened. There's an utterly sad bit where the girl yells at her ex and he says, 'I never knew that's how you felt. You might have thought you told me that before, but I never heard it in those words.' But of course by then, it's too late, and they're over. And then he went off and thought about what she said, and made changes in his life that made everyone around him happier with him. It was really well done, and totally not what I was expecting. And it had an ending that was very sweet and still sad--the two of them on the street, well after the breakup, making sort-of plans to 'do something.'

And after that, I watched Regular Guys, which Netflix had told me to watch, and omg, it was so right. It was also a little bittersweet (unrequited love always is, and this one got kinda complicated with the love), but really nice over all. 5 stars! Also, I feel a lot better about it, now that I learn that it was from 1996, since there was something slightly off about what everyone was wearing. I was blaming it on them being German, but German *and* in 1996 makes a lot more sense.

And then I started watching Spice World but my internet was funky, so instead I watched a little more Chuck and went to bed at a reasonable, non-4am time.
