So, ignoring the horrificness that is Dollhouse (I am downloading the episodes to catch up as we speak), there is some tv out there that I am quite enjoying. Undoubtedly they will all be canceled, but here we go:

Castle: The new Nathan Fillon show. It's a little bit Bones, a little bit Murder She Wrote, but gender flipped and funny and yeah, i'm in love with it.

Party Down: Failed/still-trying actors working for a catering firm. From the maker of veronica mars, staring many many people from Veronica Mars. It was not the best first episode I've ever seen, but it was still very promising.

Better off Ted: OMG, teh luv. I want to marry this show. It reminded me most of The Middleman--not so much him as the evil corporations he battles, particularly the one in the first episode that Wendy is temping for. Love. It made me laugh, and go awwww, so a) I want it to continue to not suck and b) I know they are going to cancel it immediately.

I'm adoring "Castle" too. ^_^ overall a nice take on the genre, plus (of course) Nathan Fillion I love you so. *g*

I haven't seen any of the "Dollhouse" episodes after the first one. where do you download them from? (curiousity; I know I can find them on Hulu.)

I get them from mininova. I am addicted to downloading tv lately. I have just deleted like 200 gigs off of my various drives.

(oh, god, I'm going to be all full of hate after the Dollhouse marathon. Hannah says I should just skim them, and considering the hate I have for her singing, she's right.)

yes, the joys of watching on computer - skimming!

Eh, I still watch the whole things. I'm really bad at skimming.

I am too. how do you know that what you're fast forwarding through isn't the good part? I'm more likely to stop watching altogether.
I hadn't heard of "Life" before - it has Damian Lewis from The Forsyte Saga! interesting. I must learn to use BitTorrent.

Oh, I *love* Life. It is really really bad as a crime procedural, so luckily that isn't at all what it is. :) And I am so happy because I thought the season had ended for it, when in fact it has not, so I have two episodes waiting for me at home.

And really, I find pirating to be fairly easy, at least most of the time. I use utorrent and mininova, and have found pretty much everything I need that way.
