In the shower at the moment I have 6 conditioners, 4 shampoos, 2 body washes and a soap. I may need to at least thin out the conditioners (which are mostly commercial and in bottles, unlike the shampoos, which are all Lush brands and mostly solids (New, Hybrid, Godiva, and the liquid, Cynthia Stout)) and put some back on their shelf before Hannah tries to take a shower and accidentally triggers a hairproductvalanche. They are at least out for a reason other than laziness. My hair is being insanely cranky at the moment, and the conditioner that has worked like a charm for the past 4 years is useless the first day after I wash my hair, and greasy and gross from then on. So I've been experimenting, and have not yet found a clear winner. I can still thin them out, though.
I am INSANELY addicted to this song. Perhaps tomorrow I will look up other things by him.
My beloved winter boots are still beloved, but I walked too much in them yesterday and rubbed off a layer of skin all around both calves. I forget it's (not) there until I shower, and then oh how I remember. So it's back to the sneakers that hurt my achilles tendon. I think my mom maybe right, and the shoe is somehow aggravating the bonespur, as that's where it is--it presses against the achilles tendon just above the bone of the heel, but I haven't a clue how. There are new shoes in my future, though, if I can find a store that carries the new balance slip-ons I want to try.
The dog has given up staring at me with a little hopeful tail flutter ("please oh please let me on the bed.") and given up leaning his chin against the side of the bed so that I can rub his chin. Life without the proper mom is SO HARD. (Proper mom should be watching previews right about now) He is now doing the 'so tired' bit curled up on my sheepskin, sighing and looking accusingly if I make any noise at all. We get the sort of dog we deserve, i suppose. He is not a subtle dog, and I imagine many of you would think that's rather fitting. :) (he is SO TIRED. I need to post this and turn out the light for him. FINALLY.)
