edie22 -- Hmm. Senior year of college, when I realised that if I didn't stop waiting for people to approach me, I would get old and die alone.

podling -- Probably, but I'd try not to be too annoying about it. Except when you were around, of course.

shadesong -- I really don't know. Most of my life's been pretty darn good, so I can't usually pick out one thing as better than other things. Clarion was a pretty amazing thing, for example, but I don't know about best.

astrophysicat -- I haven't yet. Not as a career, anyways. But I have written for fun for most of my life, esp since 5th grade or so.
