One of my credit cards claims to have a much higher balance than I would have thought possible, considering I paid it off 12/13. but I can't look it up online to see why it says this because the card was just sold to Bank of America, and Bank of America doesn't want me to log in and look at my accounts (even though I *have* in the not so distant past.) It's fussy about me telling it where I got the credit card before I can log in, and honestly, I don't remember those things. Why would I?

Also, my impractical shoes? All its siblings in other sizes have just been relisted at $15 less. woe!

I have 30 library books waiting to be read right now. Well, 29 since I finished one last night. But they fill up a whole shelf on my book case *and* there are still several on the shelves by my bed. So I need to buckle down this weekend and do some serious reading. No movies! No fun stuff! Just reading. And there are potentially more books at the library. A bunch are YA, though, so that's not much of a big deal.

I would say I'll keep track of all the books I read next year, but I'll get bored and start forgetting things by the end of January. I may still try it anyways, though, so you all can make fun of my choice in reading material for at least a month.

Little Miss Sunshine was...good. but weird. The movie ended, and all of a sudden I realised that nothing had actually been fixed. They were all pretty much about as broken as they had been to start with (albeit, some of them in different ways.) But still, good.

Also, Harry Potter 3--am I crazy, or in the book did they not mention that who Messers Padfoot, Prongs, Wormtail, and whatever were his dad, Sirius, Lupin, and Pettigrew? Cause that seemed to be important to a number of areas of the plot, yet not mentioned. This is the problem with movies made from books that full--they leave thigns out, because the viewers will already know them. (also, from reading the trivia and goofs, I clearly missed some scenes when I was watching it. Probably because I was trying to knit at the same time.)

Oh, in the lines of very bad books--the one I'm reading now isn't automatically bad, it's just...sucking a little lately because a) it has a hyena in it (or maybe a jackal) and b) the book was changed from first to third very late in its life, so there are *still* a noticable number of places where the wrong pronoun is used. For shame! For shame!

Regarding Harry Potter, you are not wrong. The book did tell us who the mapmakers were and I was very disappointed that they didn't mention it in the movie (or even tell us how Sirius knew that Harry had the map to begin with). I even watched the "extended" version on ABC Family earlier this month to see if maybe it was a cut bit. But apparently not.
