I can't remember who here has read waking the dead, but for those who have, the song I got it from is at http://untruth.free.fr/songs/nightlight.php3 The song itself is from a mishearing--I always think he's singing, "the spirits in the walls," when he's really singing 'the spirits and the worms."
My favorite lines in the song though are in the second verse: "Sorry, father, I had to wake you up." Because of those times, esp late at night, when you get this utterly irrational need to be sure that everyone you love is safe.
