Aug. 4th, 2006 10:18 amThere was crazy last night, but it made my eyes bleed (it didn't give me nightmares, so Cory and I still win that contest, go us!), so I'm not revisiting that.
The Guggenhiem Grotto are coming to Cambridge in October, whee! The Lizard Lounge, October 14th, 7pm. (stupid bar list doesn't have cider on it, though. *sulks*)
The weather got cool and beautiful last night just in time for the concert which was loffly. Poor Hannah missed it. I think this was the first time I've listened to a singer and liked their voice better live than on the record. He even played Harrisburg and I liked it. (It's never appealed to me before.)
I also finally changed my cell phone plan to the 1K minutes. I keep going over the 600 that I have (not by much, but it doesn't have to be much at $.40 a minute), and so while I'm a little worried because I can't just go back down to the same plan I had for the past 4 years (because it's not a real plan, I only have it because I've had it for the past 4 years, I think it's probably the wise thing to do. The saddest bit may be that I think I gave up my unlimited text messages because I think they were part of my $2.99 "Unlimited t-zones" plan which I also had to give up (Unfair! It's not connected to my minutes, you bastards! Why do you change it?), so I may have to actually pay for a text message plan, because there's little doubt that I'll go crazy without text messages. I'm okay with (not happy, but okay) with not being able to check email from my phone anymore, but no text messages? that's just wrong.
