So, who out there had a good weekend? I thought mine was pretty average (went to the 'open air market' in the south end which is like the snootiest flea market ever, got a headache from lack of anti-allergy medication, missed my house meeting.) but that was before I learned that I gave someone nightmares and drove them to drink. One does what one can. (This also means you've now got one of the right answers on Chance's latest poll.)

I wasn't allowed to read the group yesterday until I had done some work, so it was my reward for the previously mentioned spreadsheet. If you're all good, I'll play with pretty charts this week, but only if I've written words, so someone's going to have to be in charge of bossing me around.

I'm supposed to be spending all day today testing flash activities, but I have to wait until I actually get them. And I'm arguing over a contract, but no reply from them either yet, so I'll probably get everything at the same time later today. I am learning spanish through online workbook activities. "¿Cómo te llamas?" "How are your llamas?"

But why do I get the feeling that those guys are spending more effort defending their zine than on the zine itself?

Well, they'd like people to discuss the stories in the newsgroup. But only if they have the proper credentials to be discussing them. You, for example, aren't allowed to talk, as I think they require one pro level sale to even mention reading them...

I'm not good with computers (http://www.i2i.pvamu.edu/physics/pictures/images/oliver%20computer.jpg), so I didn't see the part where they were saying people aren't qualified to review their stories, but how can that be true? The only requirement to have a qualified opinion about something is to experience it. Your time is the admission price. You've paid it. You have the right.
