tanaisewhy I missed the con today: Allergic Conjunctivitis
it sucks! Sucks, I tell you. But I had been thinking to myself that my eye was feeling almost exactly like having conjunctivitis, only without the contagiousness (and the goop--no eyelashes sticking together), so it's good to see that this is apparently the case. I've been doping myself regularly with eyedrops, antihistimines, and sleep. I'd really like to be better enough tomorrow to go to the last day of the con, though if it isn't, so be it. I'm not pushing it. If it's not better, I'll call the doctor tomorrow. If it is better, I'll still call them monday.
At least I did get to hang out there last night, and get the ego boost of people being pleased to see me, and telling me they'd missed me at wiscon. Today all I did was sleep. Pretty much literallly. I got up at 11:30, took a shower, got dressed, went downstairs, put on my sunglasses and lay down in a dark room for, oh, 8 hours? woke up, watched the simpsons, watched beverly hills cop 3, and started watching a veronica mars episode, but it's one I've seen already, so I came up here instead.
And I'm already soooo sleepy again. I would like to read something before bed, though, so I'll probably go now.
