Because I needed to start a new story.

tanaiseStory: new attempt at the Prague Spring/Light up story, stable title "Run" because I've got too many Company town variations.
Words: 1000
mean things: suppression of a group, casual and accidental bigotry. And Elena did deck someone for the casual bigotry, though not the accidental. Oh, and my soldier boy forgot he was in a police car and lectured Elena on hitchhiking, but that's still pretty mild. People will probably die by the end of the story, though. Maybe even Elena.
THis would be the most words I've written in a very long time. But there's still a very good chance this story won't get any longer before it's time to go to JJA. I still have two stories out, due back any time. (they said they were getting a pack of cigarettes. Any time now.)
