"The author has confused "heroin" with "heroine". It's funnier as written, but all instances of "heroine" should have the "e" removed."

Best typo ever, in the galleys for The Portable Dorothy Parker

the phrase in question was cranky-pants. The typesetter read it as cranky-penis. Freudian slip, anyone?

Someone had over trusted the spell checker with these questions, as I'd already found and corrected a different question about heroine addictions before it was even sent to the proofreader.

Well, the scary bad idea is that these questions are part of a second edtion. So the flaws exist in the 1e as well. :)
