I loff Henry Thomas. He's now two-for-two in making me cry in movies. Though, to be fair, I think I'd cry at dog food commercials lately. (Dog food commercials are often very sad. The big sweet sad stiff dog climbing the stairs for old-dog food always makes me sniffly.)

Anyways, I saw "I'm with Lucy," which I've thought about seeing for a while and a) the back cover copy lies, though it is easier to believe John Hannah is a writer than an entomologist, b) Gael Garcia Bernal is *short* (though pretty cute), and c) cute boys should always have script writers, beacuse it makes them just utterly perfect. It wasn't a perfect movie, but it was good--a nice non-traditional set up with the whole movie--it's 5 first dates, and cut to the present then we're told that she's engaged to one of them and on her way to her wedding, and they go back and forth between the dates and you get to figure out which one she ends up with. Not like, terribly terribly original or terribly terribly hard to figure out, but sweet--oh, so sweet at one point, which was where I cried--and fun, and I'm glad I own it.

Possibly the best line(s) in the movie:
Her date is changing shirts, and she looks away, and he asks what she's doing.
"I can't see you naked," she says. "Why not, someone has to," he says.

Also, from the movie, an example of a totally logical chain of thought:
"[I tried to forget about you, but it didn't work.] I went to a three day tax seminar and I thought about you then."
"You did?"
"Yeah. Well, taxes are in April and my sisters birthday is in april. She married a veterinarian. That always makes me think of the time we went to the zoo and fooled around by the polar bear tank."
