Barbie torturing

It's almost scary, really, though as you read the article it makes more sense and is less scary. Still, as chance points out, it's not like this is really the sort of thing that should necessitate a study. They probably did take the money and go to the canary islands for a week instead. "Look! That little girl is burying hers in the sand. That counts as research!"

I prety much always hated barbie. when someone gave me one for my birthday i performed "scientific exparaments" on her.

Who didn't torture their Barbies? The sole reason to have them, I thought. I know we left some naked decapitated Barbies on the roof of the house when we moved. Still not sure how we managed to throw them that high (split-level house), but we did. And they also got stuck in trees regularly. When we weren't drowning them.

I don't think I have the link, but someone out there used to have ritual sacrifices with hers. It was awesome. (If, of course, it was real.)

Most of my "plotlines" when I was playing with Barbies seemed to involve their capture and torture at the hands of Evil Barbie (an ugly garage sale Barbie who was jealous of Workout Barbie's good looks). I can remember Mom asking me why I was so mean to Barbie, after the umpteenth time she came into the room and found Barbie gagged and tied to a chair.

I thought it was odd that the article doesn't mention all the boys who've blown up their G.I. Joes with firecrackers or microwaved them, though.
