I love obsessive stalker songs. "I want nothing more/than to sit outside your bedroom door/and listen to you breathing/that's where I want to be."

So this is breathing -- by Lifehouse, right?

you know they played that in a SV episode when Clark was staring at Lana thru the telescope.

Very appropriate. =)

I'm a big fan of stalker songs too. Not all the time, but often. I used to keep a list of them in my head in preparation for an all stalking all the time mix cd. ;)

Hmm. I should make a list of them. "the more you ignore me" "breathing" *complete blank on all other song titles.*

Well really, most love songs, especially popular ones, take on a really sinister twist if you think about them. Some very much so. Hell, even some of the artists admit it.

David Duchovney by Bree Sharp is the ultimate Fangirl stalker song.

A lot of people are co-dependent and a lot of co-dependent people can't differentiate between co-dependency and stalking. The lines between a crush an obsession and stalking are frighteningly blurry sometimes.

Add to this that most people don't really listen to lyrics, or only care about the sound of it anyway, and voila, instant love song.
