I've before never met anyone who hears the same wrong stuff as I do. It's quite nice to be able to turn to someone and say, "did he just say..." and have them say, "Well, that's what I heard too." :)

That's been the Story of My Weekend; that is, mishearing things *constantly* (and in a perverse way, of course) and no one mishearing it the same. Ugh.

Oh, but it's really nice when people hear what you thought you heard but that couldn't possibly really be right.
