tanaiseOh, good god. My bags weigh, well, not all that much, really, I think. They're just unwieldy and they put pressure on all the wrong parts of my shoulders. Stupid bags.
I think I'm walking up to the house this evening to put the product code into the copy of XP, so it doesn't abruptly stop working. I'd like them to miss me for reasons other than the computer not working at all, but I'm not sure there's anyone there I can easily talk through the activation, especially if it acts up on them. So if anyone at worldcon wants to see what the fuss is about the house, let me know.
Hmm. Con horoscope, I think: " Your sensible side is telling you to stay home and get some rest. Your not-so-sensible side is suggesting -- nay, demanding -- that you get out there and shake your groove thing. Why not try being not-so-sensible for once?" My sensible side is clearly suggesting that because I'm working tomorrow. :) At least the office closes at 2:00. Ideally, my membership transfer form is faxed and waiting for Ruth to check in at the hotel this afternoonish. I need to call *someone* and find out when she's checking in (and warn her that the fax is there for her, though surely she can figure out why once she sees it. :), and if I can walk over at lunch and get everything so I can register before I get there after work.
