Jun. 5th, 2004 08:19 pmAs if Heather needs an excuse for being Heather, but I thought I'd point out an article on um, un-drag queens?
Oh, and I've made a resolution that if I sell a story, I'm going whale watching. And if I sell pro, I'd better see some real whales, not just those crap dolphins. I mean, they're cute and all, but they're not whales.
hawleygriffen's new harry potter icon is fabulous, I must say.
Belmont: While I am sad that there is no Triple Crown, I figure a finish like that, Birdstone *deserved* to win. I mean, he was so out of nowhere, and he just *blasted* through there. I didn't think he could possibly be strong enough to not just catch up with the cluster of them but to end up wining as well. Just...astonding.
My dad placed the order, so now all I have to do is wait. *waits*. This is a lot harder than it sounds.
I can't decide if I'm going to meeting tomorrow. I might, just because I'm thinking about going to Plymouth next week (maybe, assuming it's okay with the Auntie), or if not there to Cambridge Meeting. I went to the library today which was good for two reasons (above and beyond the books, I mean). It's apparently not open on Sundays (which is when I have been going) anymore, and there was a booksale today. Lots of books got into my bag! Including a silver palate cookbook, which I almost put back, but it was .50. I mean, how could I pass up that? And tomorrow my other suitcase may be arriving. Eeep! but not unless I email directions to Dena. bah. Best go do that. They're in the denalandon.com mailbox, if you're looking for them, cause I can't ever remember the other addresses.
And now I should go make something dinner-ish. As I'm starving, and I still have to remember how to cook on gas. Perhaps I'll just have nachos or some such...
