tanaiseAnd to think that all these years, I'd been thinking Outlook was the pure evil. That was just before I tried out Lotus notes. I can't even make it check mail, damnit.
It's odd working some place that isn't ESSI. I thought we were antiquated in many ways--we were linked to a government group, and couldn't be more advanced than them in some areas, but this place seems to have even...odder ways of doing things. I suppose that's probably true anywhere.
I just finished the html stuff a little while ago, and now I'm staring blankly at papers, trying to figure out what exactly I'm supposed to be doing. I'm really not sure. My supervisor explains things in very complicated ways. I thnk I've got the theory down, but the reality is confusing me. I long for the quietude of print publication. Damn web work!
