Apr. 30th, 2004 11:34 amI went for a walk, looking for something and got completely lost and then managed to walk in a circle. Yeah, baby, I've got the skillz. Luckily it wasn't important--I just bought a soda and then came back to the house. Meh.
Got called by the Friends House to clarify dates. Did so. Basically, I think, assuming I don't blow the interview, I'll be assured a spot for the summer--June to September, and if I want, I can change my mind and stay for a year or two or whatever. But they're pleased with my application overall, and are going to send out reference forms today. I'm a little cranky that my roommate is disappearing to South Africa today, so they won't hear from her for two weeks. Meh. They did say they'll call me in for an interview after they get, 'one or two forms back,' so I'll have to hope that Andrea and my aunt and my old co-worker are prompt at replying.
And despite calling yesterday and emailing today and emailing several times earlier in the week I have heard nothing from the temp agency, and hate everything again. (This attitude is not helped by the pollen outside kicking into overdrive--my body has abruptly decided I'm sick, and thus is acting sick, which is really unfair because I'm not sick.)
