Well, I finally got a call back from the temp agency. She wanted to know what I did last year, I told her I took a year off to write, and also that I'd sold something. Shhhh about when I sold it, okay? I've got an interview for tomorrow, 11:00. I carefully checked the MBTA site and discovered that it's a highly annoying time to have to get there, since the safest thing to do is to catch the 9:26 bus at the foot of the hill, which only takes a half hour, in theory, so I'll be there by like, 10:00. Meh. but presumably there will be a coffee shop near by (it's 89 Devonshire Street, which is like a block or two from State Street metro stop, so there should be something, right? maybe even a book store. *curses the yahoo maps that won't load.*). And better 11:00 than 9:45, after all.

I have two references from ESSI. I could have a third--the woman I worked for at the start of my job there, but I'm not sure if she's still there, so I'll stick with my RA supervisor and my communications supervisor. And two forms of ID, and that list of publications I was going to make today but got distracted from. Eeee. And I should go find the grocery store so I don't starve before morning, but stupid yahoo maps. *kick*

I have two forms of ID. I will put my books into my backpack. Stupid business like bag didn't fit in my suitcase, but meh! that was stupid, I should have made it fit. *stresses* WIll they not hire me because I have the wrong sort of bag?

And I need to print out a copy of my resume, but I'll wait until Dena gets home so I don't have to figure out wires here by myself.

Make sure that one of your forms of ID is your social security card. They'd probably let you start work without it, but it's always easier if you can get that paperwork out of the way.

hmm. I think mine is just always in my purse, so it's all good. I was planning my DC id and my passport, as they're both also always in my purse, so it would have worked out anyways. But good idea, and I shall double check my purse when I pack it up tonight.
