Apr. 3rd, 2004 12:45 amI found the publications I worked on, and put them where they'll go with me to Boston. I need to put polyphony in there as well. I don't have any work pants that fit. This is not really a bad thing, since I have oodles of skirts, but I'm not really a skirt kinda girl, so I think we're going to the Gap tomorrow, so I can check the sales racks for new khakis. And new jeans, but that's just because I'm down to only pair that still fits. I'm really really hoping that I'm not fatter than I was when I moved here, that my jeans are just old enough
How's this for a professional cover letter: "Please excuse the ink smears. My cats put their feet in the printer." I didn't really write it, but it was tempting. And really, don't most people have cats? (I read the grocery lists! I know how it all works.) Darwin can't figure out where the paper comes from. (It's from a tray under the output tray) he keeps looking behind it. And now that it's done, he's poking his feet all the way into the front of it.
I didn't send Listening to LCRW, and this seems like something I should have sent them, so it's going into the mail tomorrow. I like stories that are as done as they're going to get. I don't need to read them before I send them out. Whee! I keep thinking I've sent things to LCRW, but looking at my tracker, this will only be the second piece. Man. I love their stuff. I wonder why I never send anything there.
I've just discovered that XP has a built in CD burner, thus I'm making backups and other useful things (ooh, I need to put my mail in there as well). This includes the complete Unbelievable Truth collections for Mek and Karin--do I owe them to anyone else? Does anyone else want them? Do I owe music to anyone else, while I'm burning things?
