tanaiseTonight's slush report: 10 dumped, 2 to think about, 1 passed up, and 1 second read that I reported on. And it only took 2 hours. I have 9 more in my slush pile to take care of, but I got tired. And I need weather stories! Write me weather stories! Don't make me write up my explanation of what a fortean story is. (short answer: I can't tell you what it is, but I know it when I see it.)
I also got Nightlight from 2470 words to 3770 today. This would be more impressive if I'd actually written all of those words, rather than cutting most of them from a past version. Overall, the story right now is 26 pages long, down from 30 pages. And I've still got 11 pages to go through, and I think at least a few of them will be cut completely. But I put back the Bingo scene because it's cute and I love it.
And now, I'm off to bed. Possibly, I will get up when my alarm goes off and work on the story in the morning. Or possibly I'll sleep in like the lazy slug I am. We'll see. I should go to the farmer's market, since I want sausage for the tomato cream sauce I love to make. :)
In other news, MTV has found a new crack dealership.
