tanaiseThanks to Gwenda's pimping of Tim Minear's begging letter, I watched Wonderfalls tonight and was *very* pleased with it. Very pretty. Major levels of snark. Like if me and Andrea were writing the dialogue for the show. ;)
It snows outside. Luckily it waited until after my haircut. Whee! Cuteness. I *love* hair cuts. I hate those hairwashing chair things, cause they always hurt, and I look so unbelievably unattractive while getting my hair cut that I'm glad my mom isn't there to mock me. I love it when my scary scraggly fuzzy hair ends up being smooth and sleek looking. I love it when afterwards I can shake my head, and it all falls back into the right places and it's neat and tidy looking. I love haircuts.
I'm in the middle of re-reading Tiger Burning Bright, despite the fact that this read of it is pretty meh. I don't like some of the POV chapters, so I may end up skipping the ones I don't like pretty soon. I also started reading the Complete Ivory, which requires a re-read of the first book, the Gate of Ivory, which I read years ago when Jenny first sent me the book.
I wanted my lyrics for Nighlight, which I know I put in this journal before, but I couldn't find them anywhere. So instead of looking online for them, I read through all my Clarion posts, put subjects on them so I can guess from the calendar page, maybe, and found some really fabulous things in a few of them. I'll put them in a seperate journal entry, though, so people can look at them without having to read about my haircut.
