Mar. 1st, 2004 04:40 pmOh, for fabulous online reading this week, I suggest stopping by Strange Horizons. The story Alex read at WFC is up now: For Now It's Eight O'Clock. I loved it, and I still do. I remember Alex talking about the story and about how much his priorities had changed in his life once he had a kid. And either he said or I inferred that it's a story he wouldn't have written as a single guy.
And while I'm on the fabulous reading stuff, Greg Beatty's Alien's story on the FB is lovely. very very very odd, and not exactly a story, but so lovely. I kept having to share lines from it while I was proofing it.
And for Chance's sake: Five Guys Named Moe, though I'm probably not as fond of it as she was. For example, I have no urge to walk around saying 'moe' all the time now.
