Week three (almost)

tanaiseMmmm, I love Inflatable, by Bush. I don't quite get the song, but it's all pretty and sad, which are two if my main criteria for music. I was playing music for the settlers today--I'd started out watching Mafia, and I'm not good enough to play Settlers by myself, and too busy chatting to bother watching or 'helping'--and a ridiculous amount of my music is British, which automatically fits the pretty and sad qualifiers.
Funny thing--Jamie was raving about Lightining Seeds tooday--I try to like them, but I really can't listen to more than Pure before the unbearable peppiness of the music gets to me. And I didn't like the Badly Drawn Boy album that came out last year sometime (about the same time as Pete came out), but I really like the two songs I've heard from the About a Boy soundtrack have been pretty good, and the videos, with the whole duck vendetta bit have been priceless. The book, by the way, is soooo good.
Oh, and I'll have to tell you all the Bears Discover Fire story.
Leslie What has arrived. Terry will leave tomorrow about 1:30. Week Three has nearly started, and I'm still having too much fun. It's gotten hot again, and that can go away now.
