It would probably be too weird for me to go up to Bucknell for the purpose of revising school papers from 6 years ago. And yet I'm really tempted to do so. I have two from my junior year of college, a medieval marriages paper I wrote to go with my roman marriage paper from a couple of years before, and a Women and Asceticism paper to go with the general theme of the course. :) And they're both covered in (most illegible) comments by my professor, and they're so very badly written, and yet my professor is writing 'your writing is so much better than it was when you were a freshman.' in the summary, so I fear. *fears* And it would be so easy to fix them up...and I will need a writing sample when I do apply for grad schools... I should check and see if the books I need are in the library. It's not like I don't have plenty of other things up there to do.

Does your writing sample have to come from your undergrad work, or can you submit something you're working on now (non-fiction or fiction)?
