After I ignored the eye twitch caused by the lack of capitalization, I thought that blog was veeeery interesting.
Writers are insane. One would have to be insane to spend hours upon hours staring at a blank piece of paper (or a digital simalcrum). Only the mentally unstable are able to live in their fantasies and emote with made-up personas. No "sane" person would waste their valuable life energy pursuing a career that has such intangible rewards--few writers can actually support themselves with their craft. Even fewer receive recognition outside of their small inner circle.
I love artists. If one can't trip over the looking glass frame, why would one want to bother getting up in the morning?
