tanaiseBusy day, subswise. Rejected by LCRW, but it's off to Ideo already. Had to be sure to get it in before the magazine closes for July. :) I think in the case of authors that most of the staff knows, they try to give the story to people who don't know her. That probably means I'll get read by Mikal. :) Or maybe Cat Freeze--I don't know her very well.
And Driftwood is off to ROF. I'm hoping for a turn around of under 3 months for this one. Unless she wants to buy it, in which case she can take her time.
And I'll have to think about sending Listening to LCRW. Or I could try Say...--I can't remember when they open(ed), but I know they close in September. So I could probably try both. hmm. I'll have to keep this in mind. Remind me if I don't mention it in a day or two.
Tomorrow though, I'm first finishing up my job application (okay, starting, but most of it should already be written in some form or another), and then and only then can I sub things. Well, unless I get close to mail time and need to make the pick up. The job application can be emailed, the sub can't.
