Well, I think he was standing over the cord, and then lay down to attack the small dogs from beneath.

No, I don't think it was comfortable. He kept hollering, but when I'd try and untangle him, he'd smack me. So I flipped him around by the back of the neck--twice--and the second time he managed to untangle himself. The first time the picture didn't turn out as well.
